Full Job Description
Medical assistant/surgical technologist/aspiring physician assistant needed for a busy dermatology practice focused on Mohs surgery (skin cancer surgery).
Primary duties would include:
- Rooming patients
- Obtaining vital signs
- Assisting with skin cancer surgeries and patient office visits.
- Scribing in the electronic medical record
- Working as Mohs technician in the Mohs laboratory
- Assisting with office and laboratory supplies/inventory
- Assisting with front desk responsibilities
Laboratory experience in dermatology/surgical experience and histology are a plus. Medical assistants, surgical technologists, and laboratory technicians are encouraged to apply. On-the-job training will be provided. Benefits include health insurance, 401k with employer match, PTO and paid holidays. Monday-Thursday office hours 7:30 am – 4:30 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, 40 hour work week. Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
