Responsibilities
Large gastroenterology practice dedicated to delivering high-quality care. Our team is committed to improving patient outcomes and making healthcare accessible to all. We are looking for a skilled APP to join our team and provide excellent care to our patients through virtual platforms.
This full-time, remote role offers the opportunity to work from home while being an integral part of our interdisciplinary care team within the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology. Primary responsibilities include conducting telemedicine visits to diagnose and manage gastrointestinal conditions, responding to e-consults, overseeing electronic health record (EHR) tasks, triaging patient referrals, and educating patients on their health and treatment plans. Collaboration with physicians and healthcare professionals is key to ensuring seamless care. While this position is remote, on-site orientation may be required, and attendance at bi-annual retreats is expected. Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience, strong technical and communication skills, and be eligible for NP/PA certification in New York State.
Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner
Require a Master’s degree (or pending) as a Nurse Practitioner, an active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing, an active/pending New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing and current/pending national certification as an Nurse Practitioner.
Physician Assistant
Requires completion (or pending) of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program, an active/pending New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing and current/pending national certification as a Physician Assistant by the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)
NPs and PAs will demonstrate clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness and customer relations skills, computer competence and must have an active desire to learn. The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $47.12 – $65.97 Hourly
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
