About the Role:

Boynton Health at the University of MN is seeking a Primary Care and Urgent Care Physician Assistant to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to join our team in the vibrant college community on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus. Boynton is a multispecialty clinic, with Mental Health & Counseling, Physical Therapy, Nutrition, Optometry, and a Travel clinic all on site. Boynton has onsite radiology and laboratory services, as well as an in-house pharmacy. Our salaried positions offer no weekends, evenings, or call duties. This role provides both acute and chronic care to students, faculty, and staff at the University of Minnesota and others eligible for care in both the Primary Care and Urgent Care Clinics.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Primary Care duties, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, infectious diseases and minor trauma, and chronic illnesses.
  • Urgent Care duties, including Diagnosing and treating common, acute illnesses, infectious diseases and minor to moderate injuries, exacerbations of chronic conditions or diseases.

What you’ll need:

  • Graduation from NCCPA accredited program.
  • NCCPA certification
  • Minnesota Physician Assistant licensure
  • Four years patient care experience in a hospital or clinic setting to include knowledge and skills appropriate to specific medical discipline.
  • DEA certification
  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting a culture that respects and advances diversity and inclusion.

Pay and Benefits:

Pay Range: $129K – $138K annually; depending on education/qualifications/experience.

Time Appointment: 80%-100% 10-12 month duration annually renewable appointment.

Position Type: Faculty and P&A Staff
