- Provide care to patients suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury
- Write prescriptions and make appropriate referrals
- Collaborate with internal team members and external agencies to ensure effective care
- Perform initial and ongoing assessment of patients’ medical, functional and psychosocial status
- Formulate differential diagnosis based on history, physical examination and diagnostic testing
- Identify needs of the individual, family or community, and develop a plan of care and/or education plan
- Current (or eligibility for) license to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant in the State of Minnesota
- TBI-related patient care experience
- Prior experience as an APP
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting
- Function as both individual performer and team player
SALARY Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant pay is based on years since licensure and specialty area. The grid below represents current pay rates (rates adjusted annually in April) for this position:
