Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Needed for Emergency Response Contract in Minneapolis! Join VHS in making a vital impact on emergency healthcare delivery. We are seeking a highly qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support critical response efforts in Minneapolis, MN. This contract offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing essential care during urgent situations. The role begins as soon as January 26, 2026, with an estimated duration of two weeks, and potential for extension. Role Overview: As a key member of our emergency response team, you will deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic setting. - Valid State License as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Certification in ACLS and BLS
- Proven experience in emergency or acute care settings
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including on-call responsibilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in emergency response or disaster relief
- Additional certifications such as PALS or ATLS
- Bilingual abilities or multilingual proficiency
- Experience working in high-pressure environments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in emergency or acute care settings
- Active licensure in Minnesota or ability to obtain licensure promptly
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts with 12 hours on-call, 7 days on/7 days off schedule
- Ability to travel to the Minneapolis area as needed
