Clinic Sofia is an established OB/GYN practice seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Edina location. Job Description
- Opportunity for a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or a Physician Assistant to see obstetric and gynecologic patients within the scope of practice.
- You will render patient care including screening, evaluation, prenatal management, preventative care, family planning, fertility, and abnormal gynecology. A typical day will include, but not limited to: well-woman/annual exams, birth control counseling, medication management, IUD and Nexplanon placement, infection checks/treatment, biopsies, colposcopy (if certified), routine prenatal visits and post-partum care.
- Post-Partum rounding responsibilities at Fairview Southdale Hospital as part of the morning rounding team.
- Our group includes 6 OBGYN Physicians and 3 APPs.
- We currently see patients at our Edina and Maple Grove locations. Your primary practice location will be Edina, with occasional coverage needed at our Maple Grove location
- Enjoy a well-balanced lifestyle with daytime hours and schedule: M-Th: 8-4:30/5 and F: 8-12 (We have half day Fridays!). Option to work 3.5 days per week after 4 months.
Requirements
Nurse Practitioner
- Current MN RN and APRN licensures (Required).
- Women’s Health NP (WHCNP) or Family NP (FNP-BC) Certification (Required)
- Valid & current DEA registration (Required)
- Previous OB/GYN or women’s health experience (Preferred)
Physician Assistant
- Current MN Physician Assistant license (Required)
- Current Physician Assistant Certification (Required)
- Valid & current DEA registration (Required)
- Previous OB/GYN or women’s health experience (Preferred)
