Full Job Description
- 8–12-hour shifts for inpatient coverage of urology and gynecology services.
- Responsible for daily rounding, admissions, discharges and consultations of ER and hospitalized patients. 2 years APP experience
- 2 years urology and/or gynecology or surgery APP experience
- Provides inpatient consultation on internal medicine conditions and may function as a critical team member on the hospital code team.
- In conjunction with the supervising physician conducts admission evaluations and assessments and provides inpatient medical coverage for community physicians as necessary
- May be required to take call. Specific procedures within the Department of Medicine are individually credentialed as indicated by training and experience.
- Requires Master¿s Degree in Nursing; Licensure as Certified Nurse Practitioner; Licensure as a Registered Nurse; and BCLS Certification.
- Requires master’s degree in nursing; Licensure as Certified Nurse Practitioner; Licensure as a Registered Nurse -OR- Requires a bachelor’s degree; Completion of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program; Licensure as a Physician Assistant
- BCLS/ACLS Certification
- Experience working as an APP in Urology for at least one year is preferred.
- Current ATLS/PALS provider status as required.
