Physician Assistant – Part Time

Location: Sylvan Lake, MI

Job Description:

Part Time Physician Assistant needed for evening shift at Healing Hands UC. As an urgent care PA, you will be required to treat a range of patients including pediatric, adult, geriatric, as well as patients with non-emergent conditions.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Treat patients with colds, flu, & cough
• Perform procedures such as suturing and wound care
• Administer immunizations & injections
• Order rapid lab tests, blood work, and urine analysis
• Order & interpret EKG’s
• Order & interpret X-rays for injured patients
• Perform casting & splinting
• Perform wart, cyst, and foreign object removal
• Order & perform ear washes
• Advise patients on adherence to prescription & health regimens
• Coordinate patient care amongst office staff & mid-level providers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Must be certified & licensed in State of Michigan.
• Minimum 2 years experience
