Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a strong interest or background in wound care and hyperbaric to join our dynamic healthcare team in a contingent role. This position offers the opportunity to work across three of our Michigan locations: Southfield, Lansing, and New Baltimore. While prior experience in these specialties is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong clinical foundation, eagerness to learn, and commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in an outpatient clinic, while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to optimize healing outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with complex wounds or conditions appropriate for hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans integrating evidence-based wound care and hyperbaric protocols.
- Carry out advanced wound care procedures, including debridement, dressing changes, and hyperbaric protocols.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on proper wound management, hyperbaric therapy, and preventive care.
- Evaluate candidates for HBOT, manage treatments, and provide follow-up care.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals across care settings.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Stay up to date with clinical advancements in wound healing and hyperbaric medicine; participate in continuing education and training.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program.
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice.
- Certification in wound care (e.g., WOCN, CWCN) or hyperbaric medicine is preferred, but not required.
- Prior experience in wound care, hyperbaric therapy, hospital medicine, or senior care is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to educate and collaborate effectively.
- A strong clinical foundation and willingness to engage in additional training in specialized wound and hyperbaric care.

Pay: $60.00 – $75.00 per hour
