Physician Assistant (PA) – Physician Extender – Nurse Practitioner (NP)Allergy & Asthma Physicians – Rochester Hills, MIPart-time position for a Physician Assistant (PA) or a Nurse Practitioner (NP) needed for a growing allergy and asthma medical practice with two locations in Rochester Hills and Troy.Mainly needed for Rochester Hills office; Tuesday 9am to 5pm, Wednesday 1pm to 5pm, Thursday 1pm to 6:30pm, and Saturday 9am to 12pm (approximately 20+ hours/week). On occasion may be needed in Troy office also. As practices grow this can turn to full-time employment covering both office locations.No experience in allergy is needed, will be trained on the job. Must be able to work most Saturday mornings.Applicant must be energetic, and have a caring and professional attitude. Also, must be courteous to patients of all ages, and must be able to perform duties in infants, toddlers, children, and adults. Must be able to understand the basic knowledge of computers to operate electronic health records, electronic prescribing, appointment scheduling, and on occasion medical transcriptions. As a Physician Extender, you must be able to
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations to determine health status. This includes obtaining vitals and traiging patients in private rooms
Administer injections, perform spirometries and/or pulmonary function tests, and manage patient care in accordance with established protocols.
Provide health coaching and education to patients, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
Utilize electronic health record systems to document patient interactions and manage data effectively.
