Doctors Urgent Care is seeking a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a PRN/ Continent Provider. We offer a competitive pay, flexible hours, as well as 100% paid malpractice insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Compassionate Team player
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR programs
- Ability to consistently present a friendly, welcoming, and professional appearance
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- Administer injections, immunizations and other medical procedures
- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
- Provide counsel and medical treatment to patients
- Educate patients on overall wellness and health maintenance
- Develop and implement patient management plans
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed Physician’s Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of Michigan
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Must be a graduate from an accredited institution
- BLS and ACLS required
- Strong leadership qualities
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
You will be require to work at both of the location Plymouth and Jackson MI. New grads and experienced Physician’s Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner are welcome! Pay is based on experience.
Pay: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour
