Full Job Description
Michigan Advanced Psychiatry, a growing psychiatry group, is looking to hire a full-time Physician Assistant for their Grand Rapids office. The practice opened in 2020 and is full of young providers. They focus primarily on interventional psychiatry, providing neuromodulation treatments such as TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation), Spravato, and IV Ketamine for various psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and OCD.
Ideal candidates will:
- Possess experience in and desire to work with patients with severe, complex presentations such as chronic depression, OCD, anxiety and PTSD
- Possess training/experience as a physician assistant in a psychiatric setting
- Display openness, desire to learn, and strong clinical skills including collaborative, flexible, patient-centered approaches to treatment
- Enjoy collaborating as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Possess excellent communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform consultations to patients seeking TMS, Spravato, and IV Ketamine treatment
- Supervise and follow-up with patients undergoing treatment
- Provide medication management
- Help run day-to-day clinical operations
- Engage in timely and thorough documentation
- Communicate and collaborate with other MAP providers as needed for optimal patient care

Pay: $100,000.00 – $165,000.00 per year
