OverviewJoin our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Physician Assistant, where your expertise will directly impact patient care across diverse medical settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your clinical skills to deliver comprehensive care, support diagnostic evaluations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. You will be instrumental in managing acute and chronic conditions, performing procedures, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes through thorough assessments and evidence-based interventions. We are committed to fostering an energetic, supportive atmosphere that values innovation, continuous learning, and compassionate service.

We are currently seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician Associate to join our multispecialty team! You will focus on providing evidence based, non-judgmental and trauma informed patient care as part of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform medical exams and procedures as necessary
  • Prescribe medications and treatments
  • Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
  • Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
  • Exercise judgment in the assessment, diagnosis and initiation of treatment for patients, with collaboration when appropriate from collaborating physician.
  • Maintain patient medical records
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Maintain a collaborative practice agreement with physician
  • Provide educational support to patients

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree and nationally certified as a Physician Associate
  • At least 3 years experience as a Physician Associate in Primary Care
  • Advanced knowledge of current treatment and drug interactions
  • Trauma informed clinician
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Trained in IUD insertion/removal and Nexplanon insertion/removal

Pay range is $104,000 – $135,000 annual salary based on experience.

Providers are able to spend the time they want and need with each patient without the pressure of quotas and RVUs. Medical and dental benefits provided. Collaborating physician provided by organization.

All visits are scheduled for 30, 40, or 60 minutes with no double booking.

Part of the interview process will include spending 1 clinic day shadowing Nisha McKenzie PA-C to ensure good fit for both applicant and organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $104,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
