**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our urgent care team. The ideal candidate will have experience in an urgent care or emergency care setting and be able to deliver exceptional patient care with a focus on diagnosing and treating a wide variety of medical conditions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
– Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
– Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments as necessary.
– Perform minor surgical procedures and wound care.
– Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and laboratory tests.
– Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
– Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
– Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
– Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings.
**Qualifications:**
– Current and unrestricted state licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Michigan.
– Certification from a recognized PA or NP certification body (e.g., NCCPA, AANP, ANCC).
– Minimum of 1 years of experience in an urgent care, emergency care, or primary care setting.
– Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to handle a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
– Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Pay: $115,000.00 – $128,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
