Job Description:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients, working closely with the house physician and primary care teams
- Respond promptly to calls from the nursing staff, effectively managing changes in patient conditions.
- Order and interpret tests and images, and prescribe medications as needed. Assist in med reconciliation for new admissions .
- Maintain a high standard of patient care, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
- Create nightly therapeutic care plans consistent with primary patient care teams
- Conduct nightly multidisciplinary rounds and ensures appropriate and quality care for assigned patients
- Notify House Officer with any questions or concerns
- Initiate and assist with discharge planning needs
