Full Job Description

Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including senior care, urgent care, and acute care environments. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing patients, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of patients.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in diverse patient populations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Administer IV infusions and perform aseptic techniques as required.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
  • Participate in memory care programs for patients with cognitive impairments.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of practice.

Skills

  • Proficient in senior care practices and principles.
  • Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and IV infusion procedures.
  • Experience in urgent care settings is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of memory care strategies for patients with dementia or related conditions.
  • Familiarity with acute care protocols, including the ability to dialyze patients when necessary.
  • Experience working in Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $55.00 – $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26 – 36 per week
