Full Job Description

Our small independent Family Medicine office is looking for a physician assistant (PA-C) for a fulltime or part-time position. Monday-Friday schedule, no evenings, no weekends, no holidays. Flexibility is offered to allow time for family and other important life priorities. Must have current license to practice in Michigan and current DEA certification. Prefer experience in Primary care office but would consider others.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations to determine health status.
  • Diagnose and treat a broad range of urgent healthcare problems.
  • Provide monitoring and treatment of chronic healthcare conditions, such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, etc.
  • Evaluate, diagnose and treat behavioral health issues such as anxiety and depression.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing patient records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Utilize EHR systems for accurate data management and documentation.
  • Coding knowledge preferred.
  • Stay updated on medical terminology and procedures to enhance patient care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
