Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Family Medicine to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive primary care services across diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and adults. Your expertise will support preventative health measures, acute and chronic disease management, and health education. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history reviews to inform accurate diagnosis and treatment plans
- Manage a broad spectrum of medical conditions utilizing advanced clinical skills such as suturing, IV infusion, catheterization, and sterile processing techniques
- Administer injections, perform dermal fillers, Botox treatments, esthetic laser procedures, and other cosmetic interventions to enhance patient well-being
- Coordinate care with specialists in gastroenterology, infectious disease, geriatrics, behavioral health, and other disciplines as needed for comprehensive treatment planning
- Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks to document medical records accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations
- Provide triage services via telehealth or in-person consultations to prioritize urgent cases and ensure timely interventions
- Assist with discharge planning, case management, and utilization review for inpatient and outpatient populations including hospice & palliative medicine patients
- Participate in clinical research projects or quality improvement initiatives aimed at advancing family medicine practices
Skills
- Proven proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Athenahealth for efficient documentation and patient management
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and Medicare billing practices
- Experience with diverse clinical procedures including phlebotomy, venipuncture, sterile technique, airway management, spinal tap procedures, and gastrostomy tube feeding
- Skilled in managing acute pain with appropriate medication administration and pain management protocols
- Familiarity with hospital medicine environments such as ICU or Level I/II trauma centers; experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings is highly desirable
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing laboratory experience and medical imaging techniques like sonography or radiology reports
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on working with people of all ages—including pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management), seniors requiring memory or dementia care—and individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges
- Competence in health coaching, discharge planning, utilization management, occupational health protocols including Workers’ compensation law compliance
- Adept at infection control practices such as aseptic technique and infection prevention measures in both outpatient clinics and inpatient units

Pay: $54,335.63 – $65,436.45 per year
