We are looking for PAs or Psychiatric NPs to build up a full time outpatient case load primarily online but with a very small amount of time in office.
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who does shift work in another field and can decrease their hours over time flexibly as they build an online outpatient caseload with us.
In office time is only to meet patients who are prescribed a controlled substance one time. This is to comply with the DEA requirement related to controlled substances of seeing any patient on controlled substances at least one time in office.
This outpatient psychiatric position would involve:- Training and supervision (if needed) with Dr. Akash Kumar MD the Medical Director and owner.- Seeing patients by video and in office as needed.- Screening primarily for mood, anxiety, and ADHD related disorders.- Medication management (following a medication algorithm)- Ordering Labs (also generally following an algorithm)- Addressing patient issues as they arise with significant assistance from our clerical team.- Clinical documentation of each encounter- Referring patients as appropriate to talk therapists.
We are a fast growing outpatient mental health practice located primarily in Ann Arbor. We began with one prescriber and now have 10 or so prescribers and therapists. We generally only accept the better insurances and provide quality personalized care to high functioning patients. We almost exclusively treat mild anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week
