Job Summary: We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of an interventional pain management team. As a physician assistant, you will be examining patients, collecting medical history, and making tentative diagnosis. You will also be reading diagnostic tests and reports, interpreting data, taking the time with each patient to explain their results and medical diagnoses, and prescribing treatments and medication with a physician’s approval. The ideal candidate has an excellent bedside manner, experience charting in a medical environment, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills. Our practice has a full-time (Monday-Thursday) opportunity available in our Monroe and Allen Park, MI office locations. Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Read test results, interpret data appropriately, and make diagnostic suggestions based on those results
- Communicate with collaborating physician regarding patient care
- Prescribe all necessary treatments and medications
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Qualifications:
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience is preferred, but not necessary
- Valid state licensing required
