Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

Full-Time | Internal Medicine | Maryland

About the Opportunity

We are a rapidly expanding internal medicine practice seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing healthcare team in a full-time capacity.

The ideal candidate is a patient-focused clinician who enjoys providing comprehensive care and is comfortable evaluating and managing patients with a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions.

A minimum of 2 years of NP or PA experience is preferred, but not required. We are also open to qualified new graduates who demonstrate strong clinical judgment, professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to patient care.

The provider will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.

Travel to our other 3 Baltimore locations may be required on select workdays to support operational and business needs. Candidates must be willing and able to travel between practice locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations, health assessments, and clinical evaluations.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions within the provider’s scope of practice.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and care plans.
• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and other clinical evaluations.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and scope of practice.
• Provide patients and families with education regarding disease management, medications, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Provide care to patients with complex medical needs, including older adults and patients receiving hospice or palliative care, as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives designed to improve patient outcomes and the overall delivery of care.
• Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based clinical practices, healthcare regulations, and professional standards.
• Support the practice’s commitment to providing compassionate, accessible, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the State of Maryland.
• Current national certification appropriate to the provider’s profession.
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one, as applicable.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills.
• Ability to independently evaluate and manage patients while appropriately collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced medical practice.
• Strong organizational and clinical documentation skills.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality, professional standards, and quality care.
• Previous experience in internal medicine, primary care, geriatrics, hospice/palliative care, or a related setting is preferred but not required.

Pay: $110,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
