Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care across diverse medical settings. Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, intake evaluations, and medical history documentation using EMR systems such as Epic or DrChrono
- Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging, laboratory tests, and clinical research data to inform treatment plans.
- Administer injections, including botulinum toxin treatments for aesthetic or therapeutic purposes, and manage acute pain with appropriate interventions.
- Document patient encounters accurately using ICD-10/ICD-9 coding standards and CPT coding for procedures to ensure compliance and proper billing.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques during all patient interactions to ensure safety and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with specialist in general medicine, physical therapy, oryhopedic surgery, mental health and occupational therapy to deliver specialized care tailored to individual needs.
Experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for data collection, medical records management, and clinical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with suturing, phlebotomy and joint injections
- Background in outpatient clinics or medical offices providing primary care and/or pain management services across diverse populations
- Knowledge of infectious disease protocols and infection control practices; familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9) for accurate diagnosis documentation.
- Skilled in health coaching, addiction counseling, nutrition guidance, and public health initiatives aimed at improving community wellness.
Pay: $85.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 24.0 per week
