Physician Assistant – PM&R / PainWellspring Clinic | Bel Air, MarylandFull-time | Monday–Friday | No evenings | No weekends$130,000 – $145,000 per year + bonus opportunity + relocation assistance
Wellspring Clinic is seeking a motivated, highly trainable Physician Assistant to join our growing physician-led outpatient specialty practice in Bel Air, Maryland.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a PA with a strong clinical foundation and some procedural experience who wants to build a long-term career in physical medicine and rehabilitation, musculoskeletal medicine, neurologic rehab, headache and spasticity management, and office-based interventional care. We are especially interested in candidates who are excited by the opportunity to develop specialized skills under direct physician mentorship.
The right candidate will have familiarity with basic musculoskeletal injections and/or similar office-based procedures, excellent communication skills, and a genuine interest in learning advanced treatments over time. This role offers meaningful procedural work, broad clinical exposure, a stable weekday schedule, and the chance to grow into a highly valuable specialty position.

What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and manage patients in an outpatient PM&R and Pain practice.
- Perform office-based procedures within training and experience, including:
- Knee injections
- Shoulder injections
- Hip injections
- Trigger point injections
- Participate in the care of patients with:
- Musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction
- Headache & Chronic migraine
- Spasticity
- Complex chronic pain conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the physician
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, follow-up care
- Document visits thoroughly and efficiently in the EMR
- Opportunity to train in advanced services offered by the practice, including:
- Botox for chronic migraines
- Botox for spasticity
- Intrathecal pump management
- Provide follow-up care for established chronic pain patients, including medication-management and refill visits, under clinic protocols and physician supervision.What We’re Looking For
- Current Maryland Physician Assistant license, or eligibility for Maryland licensure
- NCCPA certification required
- Prior clinical experience in pain management sports, medicine, orthopedics or a related field preferred
- Experience with basic joint injections, trigger point injections, or similar office-based procedures strongly preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and professional bedside manner
- Good clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Coachable, hardworking, and eager to learn
- Comfortable participating in the care of chronic pain patients, including medication-management follow-up within a structured specialty practice
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment

Compensation
$130,000 – $145,000 per year, depending on experience, procedural background, and overall fit, with potential for performance-based bonus compensation.
