Summary

We seek to add an experienced Fulltime Physician Assistant to join our progressive Critical Care / SICU team!

This is a fantastic opportunity. *

The new PA will be part of a growing, fast-paced team that will be hospital-based. The position will include: central line and Aline placement; management and appropriate documentation of critically ill patients; ventilator management; and ability to troubleshoot patients in certain surgical ICU situations. Ability to runs codes and manage emergency situations is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Central line, Arterial and Dialysis placement
  • Management and appropriate documentation of critically ill patients
  • Ventilator management
  • Ability to troubleshoot patients in certain surgical ICU situations.
  • Cover patients in Surgical ICU
  • Runs codes and the rapid response team

Requirements:

  • This position requires ICU experience and a critical care medicine background.
  • Successful candidate must be ACLS and BLS certified
  • If PA, successful candidate must be NCCPA-certified
  • Both 12 and 24 hour shifts are required

Qualifications:

  • BLS and ACLS Certification
  • PA-C licensure
  • Critical care expertise

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $124,239.00 – $160,475.00 per year
