The Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a system-led operating entity formed by Mass General Brigham to deliver high quality, low cost, innovative community-based ambulatory care. This work stems from Mass General Brigham’s unified system strategy to bring health care closer to patients while lowering total health care costs. The Medical Group provides a wide range of offerings, including primary care, specialty care, behavioral and mental health, and urgent care, both digitally as well as at physical locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. The group also offers outpatient surgery and endoscopy, imaging, cardiac testing, and infusion. Job Summary

The Opportunity We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to support one of our Internal Medicine offices located at 133 Littleton Road, Suite 202, Westford MA 01886. Weekly schedules consist of 36 hours of patient-facing, clinical time, and 4 hours of administrative time. The NP will work on site the following days and times:

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (hours variable)
  • Option for half day on either Tuesdays or Thursdays

Our office provides physical examinations, routine health screenings, and preventative care for adults. The goal is to identify and control patients’ health risk factors before they become problems. We diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, and promote general health, disease prevention and overall well-being. The APP will support the practices panel of patients enhancing practice operations, increasing patient volume and efficiency while also providing excellent patient care and experience. This includes traditional primary care visits and same day sick appointments. With this model, providers work autonomously to the top of their licensure while also functioning as part of a team. The ideal candidate profile is an adaptable Advanced Practice Provider who has an interest in providing patient-facing care in a small, community practice. When hiring, we look for candidates who possess not only the relevant licensure, experience, skills, and competencies, but also positive attitudes, innovative spirits, and genuine passion for the work.

Education:

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies required

Experience:

  • Two or more years of Advanced Practice Provider work experience preferred, particularly in a community-based ambulatory setting or primary care physician practice

Certification:

  • Certified Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required upon hire
