Range is $1,722.24 – $1,987.47 per credit.

About the PA Program
Westfield State University is home to the first and only Physician Assistant Program at a public institution in New England. Launched in 2018, the program has graduated six cohorts and achieved a 93% five-year first-time PANCE pass rate. It holds Accreditation-Continued status from the ARC-PA through 2032 and enrolls 30 students annually.
General Statement of Duties: The Physician Assistant Program seeks a clinical adjunct faculty member to teach within the clinical year during rotations. Duties would include teaching Clinical Seminar I, II, & III to a cohort of 30 students, completing site visits, maintaining communication with clinical year students, overseeing end of rotation exams and assisting with other clinical year PA student responsibilities.
Position Overview
The Physician Assistant Program seeks a clinical adjunct faculty member to teach during the clinical year. Responsibilities include:
- Teaching Clinical Seminar I, II, & III
- Conducting site visits and maintaining communication with students
- Proctoring End of Rotation Exams
- Supporting additional clinical-year student responsibilities
Instructional Duties
- Teach Clinical Seminar I, II, & III to clinical-year students (also shared above in Position Overview)
- Provide instructional preparation, student communication, career transition presentations, and student advisement
- Conduct site visits, maintain preceptor communication, coordinate Grand Rounds, and advise Capstone projects
- Proctor End of Rotation Exams for clinical clerkships
- Provide student assistance and advising by appointment
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications
- Current NCCPA certification as a Physician Assistant
- State licensure as a Physician Assistant
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Teaching experience within a PA program
- Previous experience as a preceptor

Salary:
Salaries for current Westfield State University employees and individuals currently working for the state of Massachusetts must be calculated individually in accordance with collective bargaining agreements as well as state policies.
