Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and assisting in various medical procedures. The Physician Assistant will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring the delivery of comprehensive medical services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patients’ health status.
- Administer injections and manage medication protocols as needed.
- Assist in medical-surgical procedures, including cardiac catheterization.
- Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe healthcare environment.
- Utilize electronic health record systems, specifically Epic, for accurate documentation and patient management.
- Provide emergency medicine support during critical situations.
- Oversee tube feeding and perform gastric lavage when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
- Experience administering injections and familiarity with medical-surgical procedures.
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization techniques is preferred.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices within a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly Epic.
- Ability to perform comprehensive physical examinations effectively.
- Experience in emergency medicine is highly desirable.
- Skills in tube feeding management and gastric lavage are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
