Physician Assistant Surgical experience of at least 2 + years

Job includes:

Surgical:

Physician Assistant first assist with Free Flap Breast Reconstruction cases. Approximately 8-10 a cases month. Rounding, call coverage, OR and nursing in-services.

Willing to travel to different hospital locations in CT, MA, & RI. Hotel and mileage will be reimbursed for MA and RI locations. Licenses in CT, MA, and RI – reimbursed by The DIEP Group.

Optimize operating room set up and flow and review instruments sets and disposable equipment with staff.

Role also includes remote administrative & telehealth:

Telehealth Appointments: Consultations, preops, post-operative and follow up.

Coordinate CT scan protocols with Radiology departments.

Administrative: Phone call and text triage with patient and provider offices, coordinating cases with surgeons, marketing and social media, short-term disability and FMLA paperwork.
