Location: Springfield, MA offers a vibrant urban experience with a rich cultural scene and historic sites. Located in western Massachusetts, it provides easy access to both the Berkshire Mountains and major metropolitan areas like Boston and New York City.
Facility: This facility is a respected medical center with a substantial emergency department handling 90,000 annual ER visits. The surgical department is well-staffed with 8 PAs, 10 physicians, and comprehensive support staff. The facility utilizes Epic EMR system and is part of the Trinity Health network.
Opportunity: NCCPA – General Surgery PA
This is a 3-6 month assignment with possibility to extend, offering full-time night shift work in a hospital-based setting with a diverse surgical environment.
Job Details:
- Full-time night shift position with no call responsibilities
- Hospital-based inpatient care
- Patient population includes adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Clinical mix includes general surgery, bariatric surgery, some vascular and gynecological surgery
- Weekend and holiday coverage required
- Epic EMR system
- 30-40 day credentialing timeframe
- Massachusetts license required at time of submission
- NCCPA certification required
- Experienced providers only, no new graduates
- Travel reimbursement available for qualified candidates
Compensation: $125/hr-Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
