Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, Baystate Children’s Hospital, three community hospitals and the region’s largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- Join our team of 10 physicians and 3 APPs at Baystate General Pediatrics in Springfield MA. Practice primary care within a culture of interdisciplinary learning, academic curiosity, and mutual respect to promote wellness, growth, equity, and education.
- Collaborate with community partners and our ACO to address the social determinants of health in our community and provide excellent evidence-based, compassionate, trauma-sensitive care.
- Serve a diverse patient multilingual population many of whom are not native English speaking. Our practice has interpreters on site, and fluency in medical Spanish is a plus.
- This is a full-time position. The practice is open Monday-Friday days and evenings, as well as Saturday morning. We offer flexibility for your scheduling needs. APPs do not take call.
- Qualifications: Board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Family Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants with a minimum of 1 year of practice experience in pediatric primary care or completion of a primary care fellowship.
