MRPG seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team to support our newest Urgent Care location in Medway, with additional coverage provided at our other locations in Franklin, Hopkinton, Milford, and Northbridge.
Weekdays shifts are 12 hours in length (8am-8pm), and weekend shifts are 8 hours in length (9am-5pm). Our Urgent Care offices are staffed with two providers on every shift and they are supported with dedicated medical assistant and front desk coverage. Our providers see an average volume of 25-35 patients per 12-hour shift, and document their encounters in EPIC (our electronic medical record). We have lab draws and x-ray services available at all of our Urgent Care locations and a strong connection with our system’s local emergency room.
Position Details:
We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic, highly motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team on a full-time basis. The Urgent Care Center is on site at the Main Hospital right across from the Emergency Department. We care for a wide variety of adult and pediatric illnesses and injuries. The position does include weekends. No Holidays or Call.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and treat episodic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments as necessary
- Collaborate with primary care teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective Quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using EPIC electronic health record
Position Qualifications: Masters or doctoral degree with current Massachusetts license registration required. Graduate of approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with certification, and 3-5 years of experience preferred.
