Nurse Practitioner Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dermatology practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings. This role involves working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients while promoting health education and wellness.
Responsibilities– Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for patients of all ages.- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.- Perform diagnostic tests, interpret results, and make appropriate referrals when necessary.- Document patient encounters accurately in medical records using Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems.- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.- Participate in utilization review processes to ensure appropriate care delivery.- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to workers’ compensation law.
Experience– A Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required for NP- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification and state licensure are mandatory.- Experience in dermatology
