Full Job Description

Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our private Orthopedic practice located in Mercer County, NJ and Bucks County, PA. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. This role requires a strong understanding of medical standards, effective communication skills, and the ability to perform various clinical tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Conduct hospital rounds and first assist in operating room
  • Utilize various EMR systems for accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans
  • Interpret medical imaging results to assist in diagnosis and treatment decisions
  • Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options
  • Participate in practice call schedule with additional call stipend provided
  • Willing to train new grad

Skills/Requirements

  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
  • Strong knowledge of outpatient care practices and standards
  • Proficient in medication administration techniques and pain management strategies
  • Ability to interpret medical imaging effectively to support clinical decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
