Job Description Summary In this role, you will include providing inpatient care at Mount Auburn Hospital. Hospitalist services include the care of medically complex patients in general medicine, subspecialty medicine, oncology, and internal medicine consultation. The ideal candidate will be Internal Medicine APP with excellent clinical skills and a commitment to learning and collaboration. The candidate will engage with HMFP physicians in the inpatient setting.

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions under physician supervision.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests.
  • Interpret laboratory and imaging results to guide patient care decisions.
  • Collaborate with hospitalist physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Participate in daily rounds to discuss patient progress, treatment adjustments, and discharge planning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MA License as PA is required
  • DEA registration is required
  • BLS/ACLS certification is required
