Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible physician assistant.
• Over two years of acute care experience is preferred.

Practice in the Hearth of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

• Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
• Shifts for the day position are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; the swing schedule is 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM; the night schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• As a Day clinician, your responsibility will encompass rounding on approximately twelve patients per shift and discharging when appropriate. Our swing clinician performs approximately eight admissions, while our night clinician will perform three admissions in addition to cross-coverage.
• The hospital has a closed ICU with intensivists on hand 24/7. So, procedures are not required.
• As part of our hospitalist team, you’ll contribute to the rapid response and code team. We are all certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support, and the intensivist team will take over the code once they arrive.
• Our team will connect frequently over lunch to address concerns and receive updates on Sound and hospital matters.
• We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.
• We use Meditech and have access to our internal informatics platform.
