At Fidelity, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced hands-on Architecture Lead to drive a strategic UI/UX initiative in Brokerage Record Keeping Technology (BRT). In this role, you will work directly with product and engineering teams across BRT and Enterprise teams to design UI solutions that meet business priorities for initiatives.

The Team

You will a member of the Architecture team that provides the direction, decisions and solutions for Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology and Trade Management Engineering groups. Throughout the implementation of the proposed solutions, you will work closely with the product and engineering teams and with the enterprise to lead the efforts to come up innovative UI Architecture solutions and strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience leading architecture efforts and for developing for large scale, intuitive and performant user experiences

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with UI frameworks including Angular / React, and UI / UX design and development practices

  • Experience leading architecture teams focusing on UI architecture.

  • Experience with Business Capability Analysis and Customer Journey Mapping

  • Experience guiding and coaching engineering teams regarding best practices for UI / UX and following through with oversight on implementation.

  • Experience of developing applications with CSS, JavaScript / TypeScript, Angular, Java, SpringBoot, Node, and experience working with API’s (both API Development & API Consumption)

  • Familiarity with FDC3 Standards

  • Hands On Experience with BPMN Technology like Camunda is highly desired

  • Hands On Experience with software automation technologies.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Effective Presentation skills

  • Passion and curiosity to work with others to foster ideas and produce creative solutions to intricate problems while making smart choices balancing design and delivery.

  • Experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications on AWS. Practical knowledge of a broad range of AWS services, including compute, containers, databases, analytics, and security.

  • Well-grounded knowledge of engineering and continuous delivery practices

  • Familiarity with Mainframe technologies and cloud migration experience desirable

  • Flexible, growth-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead an architecture team to design and implement UI Architectures.

  • Collaborate with product teams to understand UI/UX requirements and deliver effective solutions.

  • Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable UI architecture solutions that support the business.

  • Continuously evaluate UI/UX architecture trends and the emerging landscape and integrate new technologies and tools to enhance UI/UX capabilities.

  • Devise the strategic vision and roadmap for UI/UX solutions.

  • Lead hands-on POCs and provide proven migration paths for product teams to advance our roadmap

  • Lead engagement with product and engineering leads and senior management on product and delivery requirements and positively influence roadmaps.

  • Drive adoption of enterprise standards and best practices, and promote changes in process, standards, or technologies when necessary.

  • Develop and produce high quality documentation for strategic UI/UX architecture vision, including blueprints, standards and frameworks that are aligned with overall business strategy

  • Mentor application delivery teams regarding UI/UX architecture and development best practices.

  • Influence BRT, TME and enterprise UI/UX strategy and promote changes in process, standards, or technologies.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000-285,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
