Job Description
University of Maryland Saint Joseph Medical Center (UMSJMC), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System and located in Towson, Maryland, has an excellent, full-time opportunity available for a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team.
- Seeking an experienced, hardworking, detail-oriented NP/PA who embraces a collaborative approach to patient care.
- Night shift only position- eligible for weeknight and weekend night shift differentials.
- Join a robust team that consists of 9 total APPs, with 2 APPs scheduled each night.
- In-house nocturnist and intensivist support.
- Flexible weekend rotation
- NPs must be Acute Care-certified
- Leapfrog grade ‘A’, #1 Community Hospital in Maryland, US News and World Report

Qualifications
Education
- Master’s Degree (Required)
Certification / Licensure / Registration
- Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License (Required)
Experience and Skills
- 2 – 4 years’ previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant working in internal medicine preferably in a hospital setting (Preferred)
- Internal Medicine Training experience (Preferred)
- Strong Verbal Communications Skills, Strong Written Communications Skills, Excellent
- Interpersonal Skills, Basic Computer Skills, Excellent Organizational Skills, Strong Customer Services Skills,
- Proven Analytical Skills
