Job SummaryPhysician Assistant NEW GRAD or with 1-2 years of experience.
This opportunity is with an Interventional Pain Medicine specialty practice, located in PG County. The practice wishes to hire a Physician Assistant who is recently out of school, because they believe they can efficiently teach you Pain Medicine / Management.
Here the focus is on helping patients with musculoskeletal pain. The practice is reputable and well-established. You will be working with a Double Board Certified physician. The support staff is efficient, professional, and supportive.
They offer a great training program.
This practice will train you to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions and do Trigger Point Injections, Joint Injections, Prescribe DME, and to read MRI’s to diagnose spine conditions. The physician does all of the spine procedures. There will be opioid prescribing too, and you will be expected to follow the CDC prescribing guidelines. We can teach you this too.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Maryland Physician Assistant License* 0-2 years of experience desired* CDS and DEA Registration
The work schedule:* Monday – Friday.* No evenings, no weekends, and no holidays
Compensation for a pain medicine experienced provider can easily be more than $150,000. The starting salary here will be in the $115K to $125K range. And here you will have an opportunity to grow your income with an attainable bonus. ($20K bonus potential)
