Responsibilities
Job Specific Details and Tasks: The duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Functional Job Responsibility: To examine, diagnose, and provide treatment and counseling to FDA employees as per clinic SOPs, and work as part of a team to coordinate occupational health services provided in the clinic.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Graduate of Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Certification: By the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP).
  • Licensed: By the State Board in the state where the Nurse Practitioner practices.
  • Experience: At least two (2) years of post-graduate clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care. In addition, Occupational Health experience is preferred and will be considered a strength.
  • Other: Biannual certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers. Occupational Health Nurse certification (COHN-S) will be required within two (2) years in the position.
