Salary range: $130,000 – 160,000 per year. $20,000 sign on bonus tied to employment longevity.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including primary care and internal medicine. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Experience with telehealth services is highly desirable.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide patient care.
- Manage chronic conditions and provide education on family planning and infection control.
- Assist in clinical trials as needed, ensuring adherence to protocols and patient safety.
- Administer dermal fillers and other cosmetic procedures when applicable.
- Provide telehealth consultations to enhance access to care for patients.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using eClinicalWorks software.
- Participate in the dialyze process for patients requiring renal support.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.
- Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- Two years primary care experience required.
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems, particularly eClinicalWorks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and family planning methods.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
