Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Primary Care Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, acute care, and chronic disease management.
Duties:
– Conduct physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations- Develop and implement treatment plans for various medical conditions- Administer medications and injections as needed- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as medical imaging- Perform minor surgical procedures including dermatological procedures like dermabrasion- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using medical coding standards like ICD-10- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
Skills:
– Proficient in acute care and chronic disease management- Experience in administering injections and performing minor surgical procedures- Knowledge of medical coding standards such as ICD-10- Familiarity with medical imaging interpretation- Strong understanding of human physiology- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
