Job Overview:We are a well established, physician-led gastroenterology practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients. Our practice is seeking a dynamic and hard-working Physician Assistant (PA) to join the team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the lead physician in diagnosing, managing, and treating patients with gastrointestinal conditions in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care under the supervision of a board-certified gastroenterologist
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
- Manage chronic gastrointestinal diseases and provide preventive care
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Qualifications:
- Licensed as a PA in Maryland
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in gastroenterology preferred, but not required. Salary is subject to increase depending on experience as deemed fit.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills as well as strong clinical skills.
