Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Psychiatric Physician Assistant
Innovative Psychiatry, L.L.C. – Columbia, MD
Innovative Psychiatry, L.L.C., a growing mental health practice, located in Columbia, MD is seeking a qualified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/PA who is able to work with adolescents and adults. This individual will assess, treat and provide for the mental health and somatic health needs of our patients. He or she will work in collaboration with our Medical Director. As a provider at Innovative Psychiatry you will have:

- Part Time (16 hrs a week initially; opportunity to build practice to potentially full time). Applicant must be willing to be credentialed with at least 2-3 major insurance carriers

Responsibilities include:
- Diagnostic evaluations
- Medication evaluations
The individual must be licensed and as required by the State of Maryland to practice as a nurse practitioner with psychiatric certification. Physician Assistants must have previous psychiatric experience in an outpatient setting. Must demonstrate analytic ability necessary to diagnose patients. Must also be able to develop and implement plans of action for long and short-term management of acute and chronic health problems. Must demonstrate substantial interpersonal skills necessary to instruct patients and their families. Innovative Psychiatry provides outpatient mental health services to adults and children.
