Position Title: Physician Assistant – Colorectal/Minimally Invasive Surgery Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our Colorectal/MIS (Minimally Invasive Surgery) team. The ideal candidate will have experience and expertise in providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing colorectal surgeries and minimally invasive procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team of surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in the colorectal/MIS specialty.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients undergoing colorectal surgeries and minimally invasive procedures.
- Perform pre-operative evaluations, assist in surgical procedures, and provide post-operative care to patients.
- Participate in patient education and counseling regarding their condition, treatment options, and post-operative care.
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives and research projects within the colorectal/MIS department.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Active licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Maryland (or eligibility for licensure).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Physician Assistant in colorectal surgery or a related field.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of colorectal surgical techniques and minimally invasive procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide compassionate care to patients.
