Rheumatology Advanced Practitioner Role Scope The Rheumatology Physician Assistant practices in a outpatient clinical setting providing mostly follow up and new patient care for rheumatology patients which includes, but is not limited to Arthritis (osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis), Osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases, Gout, pseudogout, Polymyalgia rheumatic, Ankylosing spondylitis and arthritis associated with inflammatory bowel diseases, Lupus, scleroderma and connective tissue disorders, Myositis and myopathy, Lyme disease. Responsibilities will include joint injections, and gaining an understanding of immunosuppressive and biologic therapies.

Qualifications Advanced Practitioner Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master’s program preferred
- Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant / in the state of Maryland
- Certification, or eligible to be certified, as a Physician Assistant or National Board
- Rheumatology experience is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year
