Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical practices, and the ability to perform various medical procedures. Job Description: PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT The medical office of Michael A. Randolph, MD PC seeks a full-time Physician Assistant to promote and maintain patient’s health by providing medical services under the supervision of a physician. The Physician Assistant is part of the practice’s executive team which includes the Physician/Owner, the Practice Manager, and the Operations Director. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Successful completion of a Physician Assistant program/certification.
- Experience working with electronic health records software is preferred

General Expectations/Responsibilities for the Position:
- Medical provider (Advanced Practice Provider)
- Performing full examinations including H&P, Diagnose (performing in house dx procedures with interpretation & ordering tests), Treat various conditions/ referrals
- Prescription management (current, proactively)
- Electronic inbox management (phone calls, faxes, referrals, TCMs, etc.)
- Electronic (covermymeds) and phone prior authorizations for all medications requiring
- Lab test analysis, lab letter generation of ALL labs – reporting to physician of an PSA and otherwise
- Management, delegation of paperwork to physician as needed- completion of rest of paperwork – MTAs, Disability forms, medications, HHC, PT, Labs, discharge summaries and other office notes, etc.
- Management of ALL cologuard testing through the administrative role of portal
- Preoperative reviewing and faxing to appropriate staff/office
- Use of Electronic Health System = Next Gen Health Systems
- Use of Electronic Management and Check in System Phreeisa Health Management Software
- Medical Assistant Supervisor
- Delegation of appropriate administrative and clinical tasks- communication flow between clinical and admin staff
- Overseeing SOPs and other processes.
- Advising inventory management including clinical and pharmaceutical inventory
- Overseeing clinical wellness/management/cleanliness of examination rooms/stock
- Physician liaison and representative
Creation of SOPs and additional processes for care management
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patients’ health status.
- Administer injections and perform necessary medical procedures as required.
- Manage acute pain and provide appropriate treatment plans for patients.
- Participate in clinical research and trials to enhance treatment protocols.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and progress accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in nursing homes and acute care settings.
- Educate patients about their health conditions and preventive care measures.
- Monitor patients’ responses to treatments and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Utilize knowledge of occupational health to address workplace-related health issues.
Skills
- Experience administering injections effectively and safely.
- Familiarity with clinical research methodologies and participation in clinical trials.
- Background in nursing home care or experience working with elderly populations.
- Proficient in conducting physical examinations with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of occupational health practices and regulations.
- Strong understanding of acute care principles and practices.
- Proficiency in medical terminology for effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Ability to ventilate patients when necessary, ensuring proper respiratory support.
- Competence in acute pain management strategies for diverse patient needs.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
