Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in urgent care setting. This role requires a strong understanding of medical standards and practices, as well as the ability to perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and obtain detailed patient histories.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions under the supervision of a physician.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests and imaging studies.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
- Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management.
- Perform minor surgical procedures as needed within the scope of practice.
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR) following coding standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical standards relevant to various specialties including emergency medicine, geriatrics, and urgent care.
- Proficiency in basic life support techniques and emergency response protocols.
- Familiarity with coding practices for accurate documentation and billing processes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in clinical assessments and treatment planning.

Pay: $65.00 – $80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 36 per week
