Full Job Description
- We are seeking a motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to perform Veterans Disability Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations in a structured clinical setting. This role is ideal for clinicians who value efficiency, accuracy, and meaningful service to veterans while benefiting from flexible scheduling and volume-based earning potential. Comprehensive training and direct physician mentorship are provided.
- Flexible scheduling, scheduled up to 1 month in advance by the PA, any day of the week, daytime hours, no call/evenings/weekends required
- Minimum 20 hours per week of in-person exam time required for benefits
- Additional hours available based on desired workload
- Volume-based compensation (no salary) with strong earning potential
- Salary range: Up to $140,000 per year based on production
- Documentation time is separate from scheduled exam hours; experienced examiners can complete most documentation during encounters

- Responsibilities:
- Perform structured disability examinations for veterans
- Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation using standardized templates
- Maintain efficient workflow while ensuring clinical accuracy
- Participate in onboarding training and quality improvement processes
- Active Physician Assistant license in good standing
- Strong applicants are not perfectionists but instead strive for efficient documentation with accuracy
- Strong clinical documentation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a productivity-based environment
- Persistent, patient, and adaptable during the initial 1–2 month training period
