Hospital-Based | Inpatient Cardiology

30 hours a week | $110-135k based on experience
Schedule:
- Three 10-hour weekday shifts
- Rotating daytime weekend coverage approximately every fourth weekend
A multi-specialty medical group is seeking a hospital-based Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its team of Board-certified cardiologists.
The selected provider will be part of the inpatient rounding team at a community hospital affiliated with a major academic health system. Responsibilities include seeing cardiology consults, providing follow-up care to hospitalized patients under physician supervision, caring for interventional cardiology patients before and after procedures, coordinating follow-up care, and communicating with Hospitalists and Primary Care Providers.
Training in the supervision of cardiac stress testing can be provided. This position does not participate in acute STEMI response coverage and does not require scrubbing in the cath lab.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Massachusetts
- DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration required
- Familiarity with cardiac diagnoses, cardiac procedures, and cardiac medications expected
- Experience with cardiac cath patients preferred
- Experience with Epic and/or eClinicalWorks preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills required
Pay: $110,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
