Full Job Description

Seeking a full-time NP/PA for our busy and rapidly growing Internal Medicine and Weight Management practice in Northborough, MA. This is a 1 MD + 1 NP practice led by a board-certified Internist and Obesity Medicine specialist, with a vision of delivering high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care. Looking to start mid-September.

Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time. Day shift

You will have a dedicated ramp-up period designed to build confidence and clinical independence, with the opportunity to grow alongside a practice that is expanding its weight management program and long-term APP team.

Qualifications:

  • Eager to grow, contribute ideas, and take ownership in a rapidly expanding internal medicine and weight management practice
  • Experience with EPIC a plus
  • Comfortable using computer and electronic health records
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable with in-person and telehealth visits
  • Interest in preventative care (physicals/annual wellness visits) and chronic disease management
  • Interest in obesity medicine and medical weight management a plus

  • Under the general supervision of one or more CRMA physicians, performs direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions within the scope of Advanced Practice Nursing/PA practice
  • Obtains and records medical histories; performs and records physical examinations and assessments in this ambulatory setting
  • Orders appropriate diagnostic tests and consults according to established practice guidelines
  • Reviews findings and treatment plans with the supervising physician as appropriate based on complexity of care and individual scope of practice
  • Prescribes medications with legal prescriptive authority in accordance with a collaborating agreement with the supervising physician; seeks consultation when situations fall outside established boundaries
  • Plans and initiates health maintenance and disease prevention for patients, including education, instruction, and counseling
  • Participates in weight management visits including medical evaluation, nutritional guidance, and chronic disease-focused care
  • Triages patient phone calls and documents information appropriately
  • Participates in continuing education and professional development to maintain and enhance clinical skills
  • Follows CRMA protocols for billing, HIPAA compliance, and utilization of the electronic medical record
  • A “full day” of 8 paid hours is defined as 6.5 bookable hours of direct patient care
  • Employees who work 24 hours or more a week are Benefit Eligible
  • Health Insurance: 90% of premium paid by CRMA for fulltime staff, prorated for part-time.
  • CME benefits, prorated for part-time.
  • 11 paid holidays/yr. 17 vacation/sick days/yr in addition. Prorated for part-time.
