Full Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced clinical testing psychologist to join our growing clinical team at Westside Behavioral Health.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include: doing testing intakes with children, adolescents and adults, planning psychological and neuropsychological assessment batteries, administering psychological and neuropsychological measures, which can include ADHD evaluations, executive functioning screening, assessment of intellectual abilities/cognitive strengths and memory screening/dementia screening as well as autism spectrum testing. Testing may also be performed for diagnostic clarification and to make recommendations for treatment planning or for determining why a client is having problems in school, at home and/or at work (assessing self-esteem, coping skills, the impact of trauma, depression , anxiety or other mental health diagnoses). In addition, responsibilities include interpreting data, writing reports, providing feedback sessions, completing documentation and developing treatment plans. Intakes and feedbacks can be completed in person or via Telehealth depending upon client and clinician preferences. All materials needed to complete assessments will be provided. There will be opportunities to collaborate with other Westside Behavioral Health providers, including nurse prescribers, psychologists, social workers and therapists to ensure comprehensive care. There is also an opportunity to supervise doctorate level graduate students.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA accredited institution- State licensure, or license eligibility, as a Psychologist- Proficiency in conducting psychological and neuropsychological testings
